Joe Roper has been successfully repairing surfboards
since the late 70’s. Joe began his career fixing surfboards
San Diego Surf Shop in Pacific Beach. After a few years he moved down
the street a few blocks and set up service next to Gordon and Smith
where he enjoyed many years servicing the public. With the solid growth
of the business and the demand for more working space Joe expanded
his business again and hence, the formation of Joe Roper’s Surfboard
Repair, a fully equipped factory dedicated to the highest quality
of surfboard repair known.

One of my favorite spots to surf is crystal pier but my favorite reef break is new break in sunset cliffs I also like surfing cloud break in Tavarua. Hi My name is Tiare Thompson. I am 6 years old and will be 7 on Feb 16. I have been surfing for almost 2 years. My first surfing experience was in Tavarua on a 10' soft top board at Kiddy pools (inside Restaurants). Ever since than I have been surfing every day, I mean every day sometimes twice a day. My dad Foster has entered me in many contest up and down the calif coast. I have many victories, I would have many more victories, except the fact is, many of the events that I surf in are age groups much older than me, like 14 and under of 12 and under, but when it's 10 and under I pretty much hold my own. A few of my most current contest are Windansea surf menehune I surfed in 4 events and got 1st place in all. I surfed at the Roxy pro am and got 3rd place, it was a 10 and under event, I thought that I did real good in that event considering my age. Just give me a couple more years.
My 2 favorite surf spots are tourmaline and La Jolla Shores, although my dad has taken me out at Windansea a few times and I know down the road it will be my favorite spot.
I started surfing because my whole family surfs and my mom is from Kauai and my dad is fron La Jolla and he put together trips for Tavarua Island Tours.
I love both short and long board, but down the road I will probably start focusing on short boarding more.
